Welcome to my blog! My name is Maddy Raker and I am a 9th grader who attends Roosevelt High School and plays freshman volleyball for Roosevelt as well. This blog is about some of my favorite movies and popular or trending movies. I will be telling about the movie itself, what I think of it personally, and who I would recommend it to. My favorite genre of movie is sci-fi, but there will be other types of movies too. I will be asking my friends their favorite movies and genres so there's a variety of good movies to choose from if you are looking for something new to watch. I chose to make a blog about movies because when I am not playing volleyball or at school, I like to spend my free time watching movies mostly on Netflix. Some of my favorite movies are the Dark Knight, Seven, Talladega Nights, To All The Boys I Loved Before, and A Quiet Place.

The Sixth Sense

A movie I have recently watched for the first time was the Sixth Sense. Even though I saw it only a couple of weeks ago, it came out in 1999. The Sixth Sense is a mystery movie about a child psychiatrist named Malcolm who is helping a young boy who claims to be able to see dead people or ghosts. I would call this movie a mystery/thriller because it is very suspenseful and has a creepy feel to it.
